Is it possible for a ninja like kakashi to have 2 set of sharingan eyes? and Would this cause a set back in his skills or become a great boost to his power?

Its just a point of how u use it, how skilled you are, not all Ninjas can use Sharingan, Kakashi wears his mask to close sharingan, he cant turn it off, if he would to remove the mask, sharingan would consume all his Chakra, and he would die

It is easier to have the sharigan active if your body was built for it. Meaning that Itachi and tobi will always find it less draining to activate their sharigan constantly that Kakashi ever will.

I know for sure that both sharingan and byakugan require chakra to keep active. like zetsuraxx said this chakra drain is MUCH less for people born with the abilities then say someone like kakashi who's body isn't designed for it. I don't however know if the rinnegan falls into this same category, and in fact I think that considering nagato had it activated 100% of the time it would seem that the rinnegan does not drain the users chakra just by being there. And like you said, dojutsu users do appear to have more chakra than average ninja. Just look at itachi, madara, sasuke, and nagato; all of them have very high levels of chakra compared to your average ninja.

Base on my theory Senju + Uchiha + Uzimaki = rinnegan; if this theory holds true then Nagato (who has all three) body would have been built for the rinnegan therefore the strain of using it would be less or non existent for him.
I do not think that Madara can insert both rinnegan at this point it would be too much a strain on his chakara, but that is not his intention which is to combine the sharingan with the rinnegan.

It is possible for a ninja like kakashi (a ninja who is not uchiha) to replace both eyes with sharingan. The downside if that when not in combat they would need to keep both eyes sealed, so they would have to walk around blind most of the time. Further more having two foreign eyes would double the considerable drain that they cause, which would ultimately cut in half there chakra pool/stamina. So while it is possible the negative drawbacks far outweigh the bonus of having two sharingan eyes.

concernging the rinnegan...it dosent consume chakra...it amplifies it....if u remember what tsunade said when paid atacked konoha...but has its risks with the summonings
