I just realized now that every person who has awakened the Sharingan has been a male. Is it that the Uchiha bloodline limit is restricted to males ? Is it that the females can't awaken Sharingan or something ? Atleast one senju woman in battleNo Uchiha woman in battleOr even greater mystery, where there atleast a single Uchiha woman in the clan ? If no woman can awaken a Sharingan, then they can't fall under a Uchiha clan, isn't it... _________________ Regards, krishna.kumar

Good observation..but I think they can still be considered a clan because the women don't have to be ninja they could still have uchiha blood in them..and for some odd reason I just can't see a woman Uchiha..idky

Interesting point, I think you might be on to something. Perhaps the women of the clan don't have enough hate to unlock their sharingan? Even sasuke's mom, who gave birth to two of the strongest uchiha in history, is an ordinary housewife and not a ninja.

Not just that... Mikoto Uchiha was a jounin ranked ninja. To become a jounin ranked ninja, she must have gone through some arduous times. Even after that, she lacks "The Sharingan". Most Uchiha males got their Sharingan by the time they were a genin. Some got it when they were chuunin. But, to lack the sharingan even after being a jounin really caught my eye. That's all...

I posted this topic long ago, with the focus being Mikoto as well. Lol.
Once again, great minds think alike.
However, I didn't know she was a jounin. Maybe she did have sharingan and we just never saw it? We never saw Fugaku's sharingan either, if I'm not mistaken. But obviously he had it.

She probably has the sharingan, but is restricted to use it. Maybe Konoha belived only the Poilce Staff sould be able to use sharingan, supressing powers.

No, because awakening sharingan was a great honor for you and your family, and meant you have become a man.(Pretty much, since we've never seen a female awaken it.)
Obito wasn't in the Police Force, neither was Itachi, I do believe. We've never heard mention of Shisui being in the Police Force, and he was an exceptionally powerful shinobi with MS.
I don't think sharingan is restricted to the police. We've just never seen Fugaku or Mikoto in battle, so we've never seen his/their sharingan before.

He probably meant it was forbidden to show MS, remember the conversation between Fugaku and Sasuke, " the sharingan is a curse "
