Yeah I also always was sure that Ibiki is a strong guy, and he certainly is (Look at that gigantic iron maiden summon of his!) but he wasn't able to defeat a realm.
However, Gai/Danzou/Lee/Neji/Hiashi are on totally different levels from each other.
Danzou? Certainly had a chance against some realms. Lee? Nope.

The fact that Kakashi was able to defeat a realm was rather due to his very tricky nature and skills than raw strength. No matter how many people you add, it won't help much as they won't be able to overpower Tendo by strength.
The logic "Kakashi+2 defeat one realm so Kakashi+10 will defeat three" won't work like that.

if there was no PiS, then why didn't Kakashi ever use Kamui against either Deva or Asura? Like if Kakashi used Kamui when Deva was shackled, Asura wouldn't had been able to stop it. Or if Kakashi used Kamui earlier while Deva and Asura were busy fighting his Lightning Shadow Clone and didn't realize he was there.

It's hard to say if the missiles will hit or not, and the Deva that pushed those toads away had nearly all of Nagato's chakra to himself, he won't be able to do that with the other 5 bodies active... it was also inconsistent that he was able to do that anyway without Chou Shinra Tensei.

Pain/Nagato in my opinion should not even be considered since he is only useful when the opponent knows his abilities. So after Jaraiyas battle with him everybody has intel on Pain therefor making him weak. If Nagato used his rinnegan however more to his use instead of using the 6 pains, it would be a different story

I think the strongest character in my opinion would be
Kabuto

because he has edo tensei which can summon Itachi, kakuza, deidari, sasori, and NAGATO.

he has Sharingan, Rinnegan, puppet master, explosive's, and whatever kakuza specializes in

think about everything he has, some of the most strongest characters on his side

just thinking about it excites me to see them battle side by side against others, WOO!!

They're dead, Taijutsu wouldn't be that sufficient against most save Animal Realm (unless mass summons get to him) or the Preta Realm.

The others have their respective counters to Taijutsu.

When was it emphasised. We got an indication that Nagato cut his chakra from the others to send it to God Realm the first time.
He never did it since; the chakra receivers Shizune had received chakra when Nagato was close by.
Meaning he probably didn't cut his chakra, meaning he still had it divided.

Minato should easily make Tier 1.. He is as strong as if not stronger than RM Naruto..

Also IMO your overrating Hashirama I think the likes of Minato, Naruto and Kabuto could all beat him.

Naruto has not yet mastered the rikudo mode and I think when he would do it he would be stronger or at least equal to MInato.

Hashirama beat Prime Madara(who is said to be able to solo all 5 Kages and stronger than Madara who fought Minato) and he had a bijuu army so I don't see how that people that you named can beat him.

Well I'm just sticking to the theme of the anime really. This all happened around 100 years ago right? Don't you think it's about time people surpass the likes of him and Prime Madara? When I say people I really do mean a select few like the current "God Tier" shinobi. I'm not too sure why though but I can't comprehend how summoning a forest can kill people (I do realise that I'm severely underrating him, it's just how I see him).

However, I do realise that they completely ruined Hashirama's rep when he was defeated so easily by Hiruzen and Kishi really shouldn't have summoned him in the first place, it was always going to ruin somebody's reputation.

This means that Madara who fought Hashirama is stronger than Madara who fought Minato.And I don't see anyone in the manga so far that is stronger than Madara (From Minato fight ) except Minato.

I think that Hishirama didn't go all out against Saratobi(Even Orochimaru said that they were toying with him) plus I think that he could use bijuu in fights.

Personally I think that Hashirama with several bijuu and Prime Madara with EMS + 100% Kyuubi are then strongest shinobi with exception of Current Madara with 7 bijuu Rinnegan Sharingan Gedo Mazo etc.

You may be right there but I guess we will only find out once Sasuke is revealed, at least then we can see just how strong Prime Madara was (I know their abilities won't be identical however it will at least shed some light on just how strong it can be). ATM I believe that Tobi could well be the strongest or at least stronger than Prime Madara considering the amount of power he has at his disposal and just how insane his Space/Time jutsu is.

I'd LOVE to see a fight between Prime Madara and Tobi.

*Edit* Going back to the "Shell of my former self", at first I thought that was what he meant, that he was nowhere near as strong as he used to be and that's why he hides himself, because he is ashamed. However, now I believe he said that as more of an inside joke between him and Zetsu. - The whole idea that Tobi is some sort of Zetsu mutation or something along those lines, I'm sure you understand my reasons for thinking this so I won't go through all that old stuff.

EMS Sasuke Probably will surpass EMS Madara but he won't have the kyuubi so unless he gets the Jyuubi or other Bijuu he probably won't be quite as strong as him. I would say that Current Madara and Prime Madara excel in different areas; Current Madara has thee most complex ultimate defense in the manga, but Prime Madara on thee other hand had most likely the most powerful offense in the manga with the Nine Tails Under his Control, Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, Susano'o and probably more jutsus.

About shall of his former self I think his real body is too damaged( and he can't use any offansife offensive ) and now his spirit is inhabiting another body; the 'Tobi' body so to speak.

We need to wait and see who is stronger(Hashirama or Minato,Prime Madara or Tobi) but if we go by Itachi's amd Onoki's statements I'd say:

Rinnegan Madara > Hashirama > Prima Madara > Minato > Tobi
