Shino is just more of what a ninja should be, it comes across as emo to the viewers but really he is just reserved and calculated.

Just so anyone knows, I AM NOT A SHINO FAN. He is cool, but he is far from my favorite. But I have lots of emo friends, and they are nothing like him.
