I thought it was repulsive, honestly. The poor animation alongside all of my favorite characters doing ballet? And what was with the Team 7 group hand sign and lightning beams? I don't get what they were thinking at all.
I just hope the next one is better.

I hate all the openings to every anime. They are just cheesey as hell with IMO terrible singers. Plus it's in Japanese.

You obviously haven't seen any of the good anime openings if that's what you really think, Naruto doesn't really have good openings, but anime like Death Note, Darker than Black, Wolf's Rain, Highschool of the Dead, etc. Are more serious anime and have more serious, less cheesy, and not so revealing openings. As for the singing, I somewhat agree, a lot of the songs they choose are done by either pop singers, or fruity-boy bands. A select few however, I find simply awesome. There are parts where they sometimes sing in English, but why don't you try singing a song in Italian or something? If it's not your native tongue it's gonna sound weird, if not terrible. I prefer it when they sing in Japanese, because the language itself sounds very strange to my english-tuned ears, and is somewhat pleasing. It's also an awesome feeling when you understand something that they say, lol. Back on topic... Just saw the opening again, and now I realize not only is it completely un-Naruto like, but it's got bad animation as well... wtf were they thinking when they made this opening? @menma: Yeah, that was one of the only good ones in Shippuden. TBF I haven't really watched many Animes and the ones I do watch are mostly Shounen, so I'm sure you can understand why I think the majority are bad.
