Guess about who? Minato!

We see so much of other dead Ninja's past but we barely see much from Minato. We did see however a littlle bit of him in the later mangas. I just really think that us seeing Minato growing up and being as great as he was, learning more about the world ninja war that he endured, how he came to being such a prestiged ninja to become Hokage, and learn more about the Uzumaki clan to get a better understanding about Naruto's heritage through Kushina ( I think thats her name).

Would be really awesome and exciting to watch as how he became so great....there is just so much we hear about him and so little we see of his greatness and prowess. Naruto may not be the smartest cookie, but one things for sure, he is a professor in the battlefield and a great strategist just like his father. it's in his blood, and I want to see it from his father. We all saw this in his maturity in battle against Nagato and his Pains.

So what do you think? Yay or Nay?

I would definitely like to see this, or at least a Minato Gaiden. Minato's certainly an awesome character, being able to see him grow up and get taught by Jiraiya, then see him in action in the 3rd Great Ninja War would be awesome. I'm game.

I thought about this but never of Minato...just of Itachi, Orochimaru, and Kakashi(more than just that one ep, and what happened to Rin!!!)

1. Itachi- There will be not enough episodes for this guy and if there was, I think it would take a lot away from his character in the story. Keeping him at the epicenter of mystery behind Sasuke is better than seeing episodes of his kid life is better and much more interesting. That's my Opinion.

2. Kakashi- Some Potential...but we have so much background on Kakashi it's just not needed as he is so much intertwined in this series.

3. Orochimaru- This is a interesting thought as to a prequel. Orochimaru is just a mystery in itself. There is so much information yet so little seen so this has the biggest potential since we have not seen the vast power he had. Also a story to a villian than a hero would be a twist in itself.

My only issue with it though, I think Kabuto in later manga chapters will reveal the true powers of Orochimaru and more information of his legacy. Which will add enough background that doesn't need a prequel. But that is my opinion.

I mention Minato cause we know and hear so much of his powers and jutsu. But his true powers are still a mystery to me, we know he can manipulate time and space to literally flash and teleport and do sealing jutsus. We understand he created the Rasengan, but how awesome it would be to watch a arc of him how he discovered this jutsu. But there has to be so much more especially dealing with Naruto's mother. More info on the Uzumaki clan, there is just so much potential.

To me this would have a much more potential in comedy, action and watching Minato grow, and express the legend of him in finer detail. The stress and worry for his wife as she struggles with being a jinchuuriki (I hope I spelled that right). See more of his wife's jutsus (sorry for not mentioning her name, as I type this I am under the spell of a brain fart for her name) and his adventures with Kakashi when Kakashi was a child. There is just alot there.

He got the idea for rasengan from watching the Kyuubi perform the bijuu bomb.

WTB Jiraiya arc...he had so many journeys and although we see a lot of his life with Naruto we never saw how he lived when he left the village. I believe tsunade said something like "you were always chasing after orochimaru" before he leaves to find pain...Id like to see a filler arc of like 10 eps of jiraiya's life of chasing down orochimaru. And his time spent away from the village. And ofc, his super perv-ness.

Because of the gaidens, we don't really need to know any more about Jiraiya or Kakashi, but a prequel series teling more of about Minato's story would truly be awesome. We may get a couple non-cannon anime-only stories like this after Naruto Shippuden is finished,but until then I wouldn't count on it.
I would like to see Minato's battle against A and B in greater detail, that's most likely where he got the idea for Rasengan anyways.

The more I think about it the better of an idea it seems. Man, I really want a prequel series now! =D
