Im making a topic for people to practice their Role Play skills. Post your character in your first post, and then write some of the story in the same one. I'll start, and explain things.
(Note: This has nothing to do with the anime/manga, it's just in the Naruto world.)

Don't make your character unbelievably powerful, no Jinchuuriki, Sage Mode, etc. Just ordinary shinobi, please.(Exceptionally skilled is okay, but not uber powerful. No prodigies like Itachi, Sasuke, the Sannin, etc.)

Try to match your history to the RP your character is in, it's normal for it to differ depending on how the RP is. If there's one where it's during a great war, and you'rep arents died, or whatever. That's okay. If it's not a great war, and they're still alive, it changes things a lot.

In this RP the Uchiha are still alive, Itachi, Sasuke, Naruto, the Nine Tails, etc. Never happened. And this is before the Fourth Hokage. Which means the Third is still young-ish. Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Tsunade are his students, very young.

Personality: Ryu is a very quiet person, doesn't heat up easily, and, according to his Sensei, is too soft hearted to be a real Shinobi.
Brief History: One of the worst graduates from the Uchiha clan, Ryu has been living in his clan's shadow all his life. He's excellent with a sword, and the Fire Style, yet none have noticed his true potential.
During the Chuunin Exam, his squad basically had to hold his hand the whole way. His sister, who was also on his squad, often commented on how useless he was in real fights.
When it was time for the third and final exam, everybody spectating was convinced he was going to lose. Luckily for Ryu, his opponent messed up while blocking, allowing him to land a knock-out punch on his jaw.
There was much debate on whether to pass him or not, after all, the wrong decision could get someone killed. In the end it was his Uchiha blood that saved him. Solely because of his clan's name he was passed.
Because of this, Ryu has been working harder than ever to prove he's a true Uchiha. Not yet blessed with the Sharingan, Ryu is doubtful he will ever recieve it.

Sorry for the long "Brief History" It turned out more than I expected.
I'll start the story after a few people post their characters.

He was known as one of the few Uchihas remaining, so he got the Sharingan.
He is very loyal, and strong too!
He is only genin, but strong enough for a Jonin ranked !
That means he'll soon be chuunin

Story:
Hiroshi was only 4 years old, when his parents died in battle. He wanted to became as strong as his father; Kasema Yoshio (Who was a Jounin, in the Hidden leaf village).
He was training at his fathers best friend, until he was 10, then he headed off to explore the world, with his best comrade; Akio Masaku.
When he was 15, his friend died in a battle.
Hiroshi wanted to revenge him, so he trained very hard, and went to the killer of Akio, but without luck.
Hiroshi still wasn't strong enough, so everybody though he was dead, but he wasn't.
He went to Akatsuki, as a 17 years old, and nobody knew he was alive.
At the Akatsuki he was turning evil, and now he is one of the Akatsuki's !
When he got into the Akatsuki, he killed his best friend, for the power of mangekyo sharingan.
Hiroshi starts training with Madara.

Story from Hiroshis angle:
Hiroshi: Mother? Father? where are you? WHERE ARE YOU?!
*crying*
*Hiroshi hears Itachi*
*Hiroshi ran away*

A year later
Hiroshi: FIRE STYLE: FIRE BALL JUTSU!! *Pant*
Akio: Wanna take a match, Hiroshi?
Hiroshi: I can't, Shasara says that i have to practice my fire ball jutsu.
Akio: I can help you with that?
FIRE STYLE: FIRE BALL JUTSU!
Hiroshi: Allright, a match it is!
Show me what you got!

An hour later
Akio: FIRE STYLE: FIRE BALL JUTSU!
Hiroshi: FIRE STYLE: FIRE BALL JUTSU!
Akio: *pant* *pant* it seems we're even, Hiroshi.
Hiroshi: *pant* Yeah. I better go tell Shasara, that i mastered the Fire ball.
*Hiroshi run ahead Shasara*

Hiroshi: I did it! I've mastered the fire ball!
Shasara: Can i see it?
Hiroshi: Can it wait 'till tommorow? I'm completely done for today.

Five years later
Hiroshi: Fire style: Phoenix flower jutsu!
Akio: Sharingan!
*Akio dodging the Phoenix flower jutsu*
Hiroshi: Sharingan!
Akio: I want to show you my latest technique!
Fire Style: Great fire ball!!!

i know this is practice but...i thought Hiroshi's best friend was Akio, and didn't Akio die in battle?
correct me if I'm mistaken..or if you just forgot about that...

you always have a best friend. Akio died, that means his second best friend turns his best friend

Personality/History : Yashamaru is a mysterious guy. He is from the prideful Uchiha clan, and a very good one of them, so sure he is confident. He is a great Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu user, and has a great Taijutsu too.

He is the type that every girl likes, but we can't say that he uses it a little - he don't want the girls to look at him all the time, he waits for the girl who truly understands him.

There are few days when he thinks of his father - his father got killed in the Ninja World War - and just trains, nothing else, from the point when he wakes up, and until he go to sleep. But on normal days he is a happy guy. He has friends, not many and not few.

He/Yashamaru grew up in the Second Ninja World War, and his fathers best friend betrayed Yashamaru's family, or more Yashimaru's father. He stabbed him with a kunai from behind, in the middle of the night, while they were on their way home from a mission. Yashamaru was on his way out to say hello to his father, as a normal child would do, but instead he saw his father had been killed by the man his father though about as a brother - next day Yashamaru woke up no the street with two dead bodies next to him. The first of them was his father, and the second was his father's murder. . .

Many in the village started to say that Yashamaru killed the man who murdered his father, and that was true, Yashamaru did kill that man, but he didn't remember how.

Now many years later : Yashamaru masters the Sharingan, and has the elements Water and Fire.

Now that you had gotten a little information about him, I will continue the story as I were Yashamaru.



(Yashamaru is sitting home) I think I will go get some Ramen at Ichiraku's place.

Ryu sighed deeply. The last mission was extremely boring, all they really did was watch carpenters build a watch tower. Nobody attacked, nobody needed help... Almost walking facefirst into a building, Ryu's senses came back to him. He dismissed the two Genin he'd recruited for the mission and started towards his home.
As he walked through the Uchiha clan's territory, he felt many eyes on him. And not one of them felt like happy eyes. Trying to ignore them, he picked up his pace, hoping to get home before someone started the insults, like usual.
He pulled out his keys to unlock the door and froze, the door was slightly ajar... pocketing his keys, he drew a kunai and snuck inside. He heard shuffling, like someone going through papers. He sidled up to the wall, trying not to breathe as to not be noticed.
He peered around the edge of the wall and saw someone standing at his desk. this person looked oddly familiar, as if he knew him from somewhere... Ryu gasped when he remembered, unfortunately, the person heard this. He turned and saw Ryu, smiled, and disappeared in a poof of smoke.
A shadow clone... Ryu thought.

Name: Hibiki (meaning sound or echo)
Gender: Male
Village: Currently Konoha, his orgin is unknown.
Age: Unknown, probably somewhere between 16 and 24.
Rank: Chuunin
Weapon(s): Hibiki doesn't carry much weapons, since he isn't good at using them. If he does, it probably is a katana of bad quality, which wouldn't be used for the fight, but for cutting leaves, so it'd be easier for him to make his way though the forest.
Affinity: Wind
Best Jutsu: (I made this Jutsu up myself, but I don't really have a name for it yet.) Hibiki's best jutsu is using his chakra to create vibrations in the air, causing a high-pitched sound, which usually causes strong headaches, making enemies unable to concentrate on their fighting. This way teammates would be able to defeat the enemy. This Jutsu, like much of his other Jutsu's, is useless if he is alone, since the headache would fade immediately after stopping to preform the Jutsu, which makes the enemies able to attack him again.
Kekkei Genkai: None
Clan: Unknown
Personality: Hibiki has never said a word in his life. Not because he is shy, but because he is deaf. He uses sign language to speak, but since not much people are able to use this language, he often doesn't even try to communicate with others. The best you'll get is probably a nod. He is smart and likes reading, since he likes the feeling of being able to escape to another world, that of the book, when he is feeling down.
Brief History: Because Hibiki's disability, he was disowned by his parents when he was only a baby. They had wrapped him in some blankets, had put him into a bucket, which was probably used to wash clothes, and they had dropped the bucket into a river. Fortunately he was found by a young couple and raised by them. They tried to teach him how to be confident and make friends, but failed. Hibiki was bullied and even his teacher treated him like he was less than his teammates. When he became a Jounin, he parted from his team and now he is usually sent on C-rank or D-rank solo missions, because he is unable to win from strong enemies on his own.
