She's not completely useless these days. She's a kick-ass Medical-Nin and her Taijutsu/Combat skills have drastically improved. The only this that makes her a nuisance is her cry-baby antics.
I mean, GOD , she keeps repeating Shinobi Rule no. 25 , and cries on every fricking mission! A ninja shouldn't be soo emotional. If she could only put a tissue on her eyes, she could Surpass Tsunade (she's a Genjutsu Type)

Read back to their Survival Test as Genins. I (Kakashi  ) discovered that she's a Genjutsu-Type shinobi when Team 7 fought me in their first ever Bell test.
I also recalled the same fact when Naruto returned after 2 1/2 year's training!

Being Genjutsu-type means she has an Affinity for genjutsu, not that she's a born master.
She needs to train in it, just like any other ninjutsu. But she can master it faster than regular shinobi, because of her perfect Chakra Control.
That is what I mean when I say Sakura is Genjutsu type.

you know what I like her, but im not really sure why. I mean like what does she even have her strength is not that good in a fight, the only redeming qualaity is her medical ninjitsu. It would have been usefull if she was a sensor.

Iv always had this wish that naruto or sasuke would take out shikamaru in a sparring match or something, but now that I think of it the best would be sakura vs shikamaru. I dont think she is on his level but she may be the next smartest (about tide with shino), i think it would be a cool story ark and a good power meter if sakura fought him instead.

dont know she is a cry-baby but since she has started training with Tsunade she became stronger and a great Medical-nin but still she is a cry-baby...damn i hate that.... i hope Sasuke returns and marries her so she would finaly stop crying at least for one episode XD

I agree. She needs to stop crying ever time she sees Sasuke. Just get over him!
I think that she needs a bigger role in the story and some new abilities. Masashi lets Sasuke and Naruto learn new moves all the time why can't he let Sakura learn some new abilities from Tsunade like the creation rebirth jutsu or summoning jutsu for slugs. But she is a useful character when not fighting Sasuke.

Once again alot of "omg she cannot compete with Shinshuuriki, 500-yrs-of-experience, Sharingan or other guys who are twice her age"-Posts.
She certainly has alot of knowledge and good basics to become a good ninja, she just can't compete with all those monsters in strength who run around in the naruto main plot and isn't a complete fighter yet. Still, she can be valuable outside of combat (seemingly especially in belongs of poison, like that of Sasori) or just to save injured fighters or allow them to fight longer by healing them. She also proofed that she is already pretty skilled in evading attacks to stay alive in case she is attacked. Plus her strength that can actually be of use, as seen in her fight against Sasori.

Naruto and Sasuke = Gennin = 1.
Individually Sakura> Naruto and Sasuke.
So in order to at least stalemate with Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke have to team up.
