We were talking about in sage modes post and nobody had made an actual topic, so here it is. I figure we can each post our opinion for characters stats then make an official data book based on the average opinion of the forum. Props go to sage mode for coming up with the idea, and sasuke_ for writing up a solid format to base each stat off of. So here is the format. Of course we can update this if anyone has any issues, but at least we can get the ball rolling!

Genjutsu - Proficiency with Genjutsu and knowledge of the Art of Genjutsu.
Ninjutsu - Proficiency with Ninjutsu and knowledge of the Art of Ninjutsu.
Taijutusu - Proficiency with Taijutsu and knowledge of the Art of Taijutsu.
Stamina - Chakra Capacity, Amount of Stamina for Chakra Creation.
Speed - Agility and Reaction of Movement.
Strength - Power, Muscle strength.
Intelligence - IQ, in any case; someone's IQ.
Knowledge - General Accumulated Knowledge and Experience.
Hand Seals - Proficiency with Hand Seals and Knowledge of the Art of Hand Seals, could also be versatility with hand seals or speed of hand seals. Example: Jiraiya & Itachi.
Overall- The Overall Average of all stats together.

Unmatched in that certain Stat. only One char each stat gets to have this stat.

Highest Tier possible without breaking through the 10 barrier. Easily Explained to be the highest at a certain stat.

.5 away from 9.5. Quite simply one of the highest but not the highest of them all. just as 9.5, this shouldn't easily attained.

A master of the art, quite a high proficiency of the stat. exceeds normal valuations.

A jounin/High level shinobi level, of that stat. also this is quite a good/high number. so this shouldn't be underrated.

6-6.5
The highest possible potential for a chunnin/Medium Level shinobi can attain. just a slight point ahead of that of an average level shinobi/gennin can get.

5-5.5
Average evaluation. The highest possible potential for a genin/average level shinobi.

4-4.5 and below
anything below the highest possible potential for a gennin shinobi.

He is a balanced character, but at or above jounin level in each category. He excelles most in ninjutsu, taijutsu, ande hand seals. also his above average intelligence and knowledge make for a deadly ninja overall. Only real weekness is strength and stamina, We have never seen him to have much for brute strength, and despite being considered on hokage level kakashi always seems to run out of chakra very fast due to having non hokage level stamina and using his sharingan that his body isn't designed for.

His weakness is a few, but if it's obligatory to mention one, it would be hand seals or genjutsu (but we've seen the frog song, so this goes out).

I am not sure I'd give jiraiya the 10 for ninjutsu. I think he has INCREDIBLE ninjutsu, but not the best. for one naruto's is better since they are basically the same only jiraiya doesn't have the rasen shurikan. but I think the 10 would go to either Itach, Minato, Madara, Hashirama, or Hiruzen. Since they were all known for their Ninjutsu.

He did say it was due to the frog song, And I personally believe that summons qualify in a users stats. Same as I would qualify ninja dogs or if they uses weapons. So in that aspect 8 is a very reasonable number.

9.5 - Naruto - Naruto threw a fucking Boss Summon Sized Rino into the Stratosphere what more do his need to do to deserve a 9.5 But as an added bonus we can talk about the multi-ton frog statue he lifted above his head before he even completely master SM

9.5 - Jiraiya - Jiraiya started with a 4.5 in Strength and then he enhances it with Senjutsu. In theory he should be even stronger then SM Naruto and we have already reviewed his feats above. But if thats not enough we can take a look at how he sent this giant fucking bull summon flying .We can also look at how Human Realm was sent flying through a sheer rock wall He more then deserves a 9.5.

9.5 - Tsunade - Then we have Tsunade who can shatter the earth with her finger . Tsunade who has a 5 in strength in the Data-book and then enhances it further with her chakra contro. Tsunade who is able to wield the Giant Katana of the Boss Summon Gammabunta Tsunade who can create creators with her kicks and shatter rock walls with her punches. She more then deserves a 9.5.

9.5 - Chouji - Then we have Chouji who with Food Pills Can Use the Mega Multi Size Technique and Grow to Sizes dwarfing a boss summon.. Chouji who was able to after using the third food pill completely destroy Jirobu who sent Mega Multi-Sized Chouji flying with a punch
Chouji more then deserves a 9.5.

Then we have the next tier down from there level 9

9 - Raikage - Who Smashes Juugo another Contender with high strength feats into a wall and smashes straight through his CS shield into and right through his body.
Raikage who cause giant creators in the ground with his Raiga Bomb Raikage who karate chops through Susano'o. He more then deserves the 9.

9 - Gai - Then we Got Gai who has a 5 in the Data-book in Strength already who then can open 6-Gates (Probably all 8, but were only counting 6 here) with the 6th gate making him strong enough to do this to Super human strength Kisame. Gai more then deserves a 9.


The Rest i could go through and do a similar thing but it isn't really neeeded so i'll be brief.

8.5 - Lee - has a 4.5 in strength and then has Gates

8.5 - Kisame - remarked to have super human strength by Gai who has a 5 in strength to begin with. And Seemingly becomes even stronger in Shark Mode

8.5 - Chouza - Can Grow to excessively large sizes gaining the strength equal to a giant

8 - Juugo - Causes huge creators with his punches and has CS enhancing his strength

8- Nagato - Pain - Human Realm Block HM Jiraiya's Punches w/o recoiling and Asura Sent Jiraiya flying through concrete while tearing his arm off

8- Sakura - Rock Smashing strength and punched out a Pain's Centepede summon

Stamina is one I went back and forth on, I ended with 7.5 simply because even though he runs out fast he also uses very high amounts of chakra with each attack. But He did say that naruto has double the stamina then him so maybe 6.5 is a better number. Taijutsu though he is definately a master of it, especially when he uses his sharingan.

Once again I agree with most of your stats, lol. The few I disagree on

Itach- I think that he would only be 9.5 on intelligence, shikamaru gets the 10 in my book. Itachi has far more knowledge and experience but in strait iQ shik rains supreme.

Jiraiya- I feel his knowledge should be 9.5, he traveled the entire ninja world learning new things. Also all the intel that all 5 hidden villages got about akatsuki came from jiraiya. Gathering intel was kinda his thing.

Ok the other thing I wanted to say was I feel like orochimaru should have a stamina of more like 8.5. He uses a lot of high level ninjutsu, and hardley ever seems to get tired from it. the only times he has been exhausted were in the fight against the 3rd, while his soul was being ripped out of him and he was willing it to stay put, and any fight while he was sick. other then that he seems fairly well off stamina wise.

I agree with your numbers. Those are def tough to call. I feel like I want to give both naruto and sasuke a 10 (sasuke in ninjutsu and naruto in stam). Maybe by the time we do another one of these in like a year they will be at that point. I think the hardest things to judge is how sage mode and susanoo add to their stats. For instance Susanoo's speed should def be 10 in my opinion. but that doesn't add to sasuke's speed at all.

Jiraiya=/=Orochimaru

Jiraiya is overrated everywhere. Mainly because of his close ties to Naruto and Minato. He is versatile, sure, but his versatility is static. Most of his jutsus are defensive and support (Swamp of the underworld, Needle Jizo, Wild Lion's Mane) and most of his powerhouse jutsus come from summoning and Hermit Mode.

Orochimaru doesn't need to summon or be in some special form to use jutsus on the level that Jiraiya has displayed and his battle smarts and overall knowledge and intelligence to back it up. Strength, speed, and stamina are where he falters in comparison to Jiraiya. I'll give you that. But I think that, in close combat, Orochimaru may have him there as well. That one is actually debatable.

So once again:

Jiraiya is weaker than Orochimaru

But it's only my opinion.

The birth of the Greatest Genius in History

Uchiha Itachi was the greatest genius in history and he was the heir of one of the two most strongest and feared clans in the world, the Uchiha clan. There are so many things one could speculate about Itachi, and the most likely thing in everyone's mind is that he was without a doubt the next future Hokage, which might have prevented the massacre of his clan. This guy experienced war at the age of four, by the age of seven he graduated at the top of his class, he was declared the greatest genius in the academy's history. By the age of 8, he had already mastered the sharingan, by ten he was already an anbu member, by the age of 13, he had become anbu captain and by during that age, he killed off the strongest clan in the world at that time. Saying that this was all Itachi was capable of is an insult, because like the databook, Kakashi and Zetsu said, this was only a glimpse of his abilities in a manner of speaking.

No one broke Itachi's spirit or his state of mind.

Looking back at people like Gaara, Naruto, Sakumo and Pein, they all got nothing on Itachi. Itachi's childhood wasn't an easy one due to witnessing the 3 Great Ninja War at the age of 4 and all the pressure he had for being born the heir of the Uchiha clan. His state of mind must have been in hell for the decision that was in front of him, killing the clan or starting a civil war. Itachi chose loyalty to the village, killing his own mother and father in the process. Not only was he able to go through with that, but he decided to continue living for the sake of his brother and continue fighting for the good of his village without killing good people, turning psycho, or believing he was a God.

The unsung hero


Many people believe that Minato or Sandaime were heroes that made the greatest sacrifice for saving their village. They sure sacrificed their life for the sake of their village, but Itachi sure as hell, made the ultimate sacrifice. He killed his own family to save his own village, and asked to leave the village and take that secret to the grave. He prevented a civil war and the fourth Great Ninja War and no one would even know about it, except his brother and the ones that ordered the hit. Not only did he prevent those two things, he also prevented Madara from attacking the village as well. No wonder Madara called him the hero that saved the village and the shinobi world and his little brother.

The Uchiha Superiority

For people who still call the Uchiha dogs, it's very pathetic and ignorant on their part as only an Uchiha can bad mouth another Uchiha. And I pointed out last week the only ones to take out the Uchiha clan were Uchiha themselves. Even the coward Danzou didn't dare touch the Uchiha by himself, because he knew you need an Uchiha to take out an Uchiha. Even Itachi has made this statement. Not only did the Uchihas outlive the Senjus, they are superior to the ones still living. Itachi could have killed Danzou and the elder to make sure they didn't do anything to his brother, but knowing how loyal he was to the village, he just threatened him by saying that he would leak the secret to the other villages if they ever do anything to him. The Uchiha were no one's dog, and apparently, people think it's a joke. Do i need to remind you, that Kakashi, a true genius and the son of Sakumo stated that the worst possible situation he could possibly be in, was facing a sharingan user. If that didn't help you, you might want to read what Madara said "But if a Clan of the Uchiha's caliber started a civil war,it would've shaken the not only foundations of the Hidden Leaf Village, but the Fire Country itself. And that would've opened the door for other countries to invade.Unrest in the Leaf would have been the trigger for a 4th World War."


The jokes

I wonder what happened to all those art of run jokes or those joke about Jiraiya and Gai being stronger than Itachi. I'm still amazed I still see people saying that Itachi lost to Sasuke, or how he was afraid of Jiraiya and Gai. The manga already proved Itachi's superiority a long time ago. Itachi defeated Oro, the strongest Sannin and you guy thought that Itachi was no match for Jiraiya because Itachi said that Jiraiya was one of the three Legendary Sannins? How retarded can you guys be? He had already defeated the Strongest Sannin. Itachi would have owned Jiraiya and Gai in an instant, like he did with Oro and Deidara.


He got the best death in the whole manga

If there is one guy that got the best death, villain or hero, it was Itachi. This is a guy that fought Post Timeskip Sasuke head on. Sasuke is without a doubt one of the fastest shinobi of all time, and his brother, fought him in close range while being half blind/blind and injured before the fight. Not only did Itachi block every single kunai/shuriken thrown at him, he even out speed Sasuke by making a kage bushin while blocking. If that wasn't enough, he held back the entire fight and even defended against an attack faster than the speed of light (eat that Yondaime) while being blind. The Itachi we saw there wasn't the one Zetsu was so much impressed with, so imagine the Itachi Zetsu must have seen. Itachi was the guy that no one could kill, he died because his eyes gave out but not before giving his powers to his brother. Unlike Pain, who got owned by Naruto. No one was able to own Itachi, not even Madara.
