Rassengan is strong too, but I think Chidori is more powerful, for example in Naruto and Sasuke's fight in episodes

i voted chidori because i would ranger get hit by wind (rassengan) then chidori (lightning)

I posted Chidori cuz it seems more powerful. And I like raiton better than fuuton. (They are both cool, but I just prefure raiton.)

they same if u look at the way they act chidori is lighting and it can extend its reach very easy and attack like million needles same with rassengan it attacks like millions of needles at close range so both are good for close or far range but my pick is chidori

Chidori also for me. Why?
Because it's lightning. It's very much more powerful than Rasengan.
Plus, it can be used as a long ranged attack.

Hey we're talking bout' Chidori and Rasengan NOT CHIDORI SENBON this is all diffrent then we can say Rasengan is bether he got Wind Style: Rasenshuriken..but nooo we talk just about Chidori and Rasengan....Okey if we talk like this Rasenshuriken wins all Chidori forms...

I agree with DayBreakers. Rasenshuiken would own every kind of chidori so it would not be fair. xD

Minato's idea for the Rasengan was to take the Shape Transformation of his chakra to the "highest possible point" and then combine it with his chakra's nature affinity, creating a jutsu that did not need the aid of time-consuming hand seals to control. He died before he could accomplish this, but on shape manipulation alone, the Rasengan is still a very useful,
powerful, and difficult jutsu to learn and master.
They're both A rank jutsu. And if Rasengan will be combined with Wind affinity (Like Naruto's) Rasengan will destroy Chidori in a second...
btw Wind beats Lightining...

I will definitely cast my vote on rassengan. Chidori is only useful if you have sharingan, without exceptional eyes it moves so fast you can't effectively attack and still guard from a counter attack (I got that info from the kakashi chronicles filler) They have very similar strength as is proven by how many times naruto and sasuke clashed with them (sasuke himself even felt like rassengan was stronger at first).
