Well I had friends that used to watch Naruto and they used to get me so annoyed listening to them talk about it all day long. I used to complain but now I am such a hypocrite because I love Naruto now. Then a bunch of people started watching Naruto then stopped. Then I was watching cartoon network and I saw pieces of the chunin exams and I thought it looked cool. I liked the idea of jutsu and ninja so I decided to try it out (mainly because of creepy Gaara) and here I am. I watched every episode from 1 to the current one at the time during last year summer. I looked for a while and then I found this site and I was so happy. I would wait for coming home after school to hop onto the comp and type in this site. I only started reading Manga when my friends started to spoil the series for me so I took the Christmas to read all the manga that I hadn't seen yet. I now have the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm and waiting for the sequel. So that's how I became a Naruto fan.

lol sad but true! i judged the book by its cover! At first i thught it was boring or just for kids but after it was all great  !!

I also hated naruto at first! 3 years ago, at my hometown, everyone was also always talking about naruto and I kept not caring about it... But today, I love it too! Check out my story 4 more details

I have near similar experience. Few of my friends were discussing Naruto hence I too joined the discussion. I had recently watched the Majin Buu saga in DBZ, hence, I was too pumped up as far as DBZ was concerned.
To my disgust, my friends were rating Naruto higher to DBZ. I was like totally angry over them and gave them some good lesson of how good DBZ was..
3-4 months later, when Naruto was about 220 manga chapters old, I myself started reading Naruto. Then I came to know how really good Naruto was.
Even now DBZ is one of my favourite anime/manga, but Naruto has surely gained a lot of respect, love and addiction in my heart...

i get the similiar feelings towards it. I began to love it cause i studied Janpanse and i found the anime is so great to see!
