Well,this is gonna be a long story.
I started hearing about Naruto when I was in 7th grade if I'm not mistaken, (I'm in the 11th grade now) and it was generally from girls 'cause all the guys in my class were DBZ fans and couldn't stand Naruto.
A couple of weeks later I bought myself a croissant and found a Naruto sticker and rushed to my friends to ask them about the sticker.
Of course,the reactions where mixed.
Some of them laughed their ass off and some of them had that unmistakable face : "You should be ashamed of yourself."
I was totally oblivious.
A few days later I turned on the TV (on a cartoon channel) and saw a familiar face.
Who do you think it was? Naruto,of course.
The translation was horrible and the voices sucked (I'm from Romania and it was translated in romanian) so I decided to watch the original japanese voice/english translation,and that's about it.(A side story would be that when I went to high school and made friends with other Naruto fans I would make bets with them.They only watched the anime but I also read the manga and they didn't know so I always won the "who is gonna kick ass this time" bets.Of course I started gettin' cocky and started telling them where the characters met,and how the surroundings looked and some of the reactions and replies of the characters and they figured out there was something wrong...
And that was the end of the bets.But I was very proud of the money I made and I used it wisely.)

cool story!  glad that you choose naruto! but dbz is great too! i started with dbz and later went to the naruto thing.... _________________ How can I ever be Hokage, if I can't even save one friend?

I can't watch DBZ. I just feel that it has too many fight scenes and no storyline,but of course I could be mistaken. Don't get me wrong,I'm into fighting and stuff (even in real life even though I'm a girl) but that's just too much. Where's the love,the comedy? Only butt kickin'. (Come to think of it I might start to like it).

(Come to think of it I might start to like it). the comedy is a big part of it! the fighting scenes are even better... but the reason I haven't seen the whole GT saga is because of the missing storyline... but in DB and DBZ, I think that all is awesome! just love the fighting! the storyline is okay too, but in naruto it's exceptional! but I guess the DB thing is a boy thing then... lol. _________________ How can I ever be Hokage, if I can't even save one friend?
